Headway Belfast are teaming up with Belfast City Council this May for their Park Mile Walk event. Every year the council hold this event in several of their parks across Belfast but this year you’ll be doing it for Headway Belfast! 

We’re encouraging everyone to come down and take part on Saturday 26 May 2012. Everyone is welcome.  There'll be facepainters in every park who will paint the faces of children after they complete their one mile walk .

The Park Mile Walk will be taking place on Saturday 26 May from 12noon – 2pm in:

Falls Park

Ormeau Park

Orangefield Playing Fields

Waterworks Park

Musgrave Park

Victoria Park

Grove Playing Fields

Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

There wil also be mini health checks in four of the parks - Falls Park, Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon, Victoria Park and Waterworks.

So come along and join the Headway staff, volunteers and meet some of our service users who will really see the benefits of the money you raise.

The event is free to attend and fundraising and donating couldn’t be simpler!
