Service users, volunteers and staff from Headway Belfast took a break from their festive preparations in the run up to Christmas to spend a day packing bags at Marks and Spencer’s in the city centre.

The day proved to be a great success, with shoppers delighted to have a hand to bag their Christmas shopping and the Headway team raising an impressive £1121.28 in the process.

Gemma Ralston, Project Officer at Headway Belfast, was one of the organisers of the day, which took place on Monday 19 December.

She said: “I am delighted at how successful the Bag Pack was; we have raised £1121.28 which will go towards the great work Headway Belfast does, and all of the team enjoyed themselves, packing bags for busy shoppers in the midst of the Christmas rush.”
