Headway Art

Artist Kathy Maria Marsh has been working with service users at Headway Belfast, developing a limited edition series of 25 'Venus Head Sculptures'. They hope to sell the unique and beautifully made mixed media sculptures to raise funds to develop the multi media art's program at Headway.

The purpose of art at the centre is to support survivors of brain injury to learn new artistic skills and express themselves creatively through art. The ovrarching aspiration is to improve and develop social skills, communication and expression, leading to increased confidence and new relationships. Participants work with a variety of media including paint, clay and photography and they are encouraged to use visual art to communicate and express their ideas and emotions.

The limited edition sculptures are being sold for a set price of £100 each. This reflects the time and attention to detail that has gone into making each piece. You can own an original work of art while supporting a most worthwhile cause. To find out more or if you have any queries, please contact the artist or Fiona Hendren at Headway.
