Art - Providing opportunities for expression and communication
The purpose of art at Headway is to support survivors of brain injury to learn new artistic skills and express themselves creatively through art. The overarching aspiration is to improve and develop social skills, communication and expression, leading to increased confidence and new relationships. Participants work with a variety of media including paint, clay and photography and are encouraged to use visual art to communicate and express emotions.
Art workshops take place every Wednesday and Thursday with professional artist Kathy Marsh.

The monthly arts and crafts stall will feature a variety of items made by Headway's service users, including;
These items would be ideal as stocking fillers for Christmas presents, so please visit the stall and see the amazing items made by our service users own hands and at the same time help us fundraise to continue the vital work of Headway Belfast.
Check out pictures from the Christmas Arts and Crafts Stall at Conway Mill on Saturday 8th December.
Service users made Christmas wreaths, Christmas cards and decorations as well as vintage and retro bric-a-brac.
