Counselling Service - For family members and carers affected by brain injury & also Brain Injury SurvivorsThe Counselling service provides brain injured individuals, families and carers the opportunity in a safe environment to vocalize their feelings, explore issues affecting them and so help them find clarity on individual issues.
The service is facilitated in the Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit (RABIU). Some appointments are also facilitated in Headway Belfast offices. Each client generally receives one session per week for a period of six weeks. Each session lasts 50 minutes.
